RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

(a) Change of mind returns will be accepted if:
i. a Product you have ordered was held in stock by us at the time the Order was placed (Quick Ship Items);
ii. a Product you have Ordered was not held in stock by us at the time the Order was placed (Stocked By Supplier Items);
iii. the change of mind return is requested within 30 days of the Product being ordered;
iv. the Quick Ship Item or Stocked By Supplier Item is still boxed with no writing or markings on the box, not open and in the condition it was received;
v. for Orders of Stocked By Supplier Items, you pay a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the cost of the Order; and
vi. you pay the delivery costs applicable for the Order.
(b) Change of mind returns will not be accepted if:
i. the Product you have ordered is custom made for the specific Order in question (Custom Order); and
ii. you have ordered any single Quick Ship Item or Stocked By Supplier Item in quantities greater than 20 (Commercial Quantity).

Care & instructions

1. Regular Cleaning
Dust, dirt, and everyday wear can take a toll on the appearance of your cabinet handles. To maintain its shine and lustre, clean your cabinet handles regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the finish.

2. Gentle Cleansers
In cases where grime is stubborn, opt for mild soapy water. Apply the solution to a soft cloth and gently wipe your cabinet handles. Always dry thoroughly afterward to prevent water spots or corrosion.

3. Mind the Finish
Different finishes require specific care. For instance, brass and copper can develop a patina over time, adding character. If you prefer the original shine, use a metal polish specifically formulated for those materials. For chrome or stainless steel finishes, mild soap and water are usually sufficient.

4. Note for Installation in Coastal Areas
If you are installing your cabinet handles near or around coastal areas it is crucial you clean them regularly to prolong the life of your cabinet handles. Failing to do so will result in premature tarnishing, and/or corrosion which won’t be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. It is always best practice to choose finishes made from 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel where possible for installations in and around coastal environments.

Warranty

RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY

The warranty period for each Warranty Product will vary depending on the nature and finish of the Warranty Product.
• Subject to the eligibility criteria set out in Southern Design Group’s warranty section 6 and the limitations and exclusions set out in this warranty, the warranty periods are:
• The finishes set out in section 2.1 of the warranty are covered by a lifetime warranty; and
• Any of Southern Design Group’s door furniture products are covered for a warranty period of 10 years.
